Hello everyone!
Today is Tuesday, the 18th of February and it is our second day here in the capital city of Ireland. It was quite rainy and cold outside. Today, we had our first company visit, which was the Guinness Enterprise Centre. At first, I thought it had something to do with the typical Irish Guinness beer, but I was wrong. So I did not really know what to expect from this company tour. Let me summarize for you what happened today.
We were welcomed by Ronan Donnelly, who gave us a brief presentation about what the Guinness Enterprise Centre exactly is and what they do. He did his explanation in a fun way. He was very friendly and offered us some coffee or tea and biscuits. It was nice to hear the story behind the history of the name of the community.
I was very excited to hear what Alicia her job is for the GEC. She does everything considering the social media aspect and the organization of events. This is something that I would like to do as well in the future.
The GEC looks like an amazing place to work, because they work in a small team and there is a very friendly atmosphere.
Tomorrow we will do some other company visits and we are going to do one last cultural activity. This will be a visit to a very famous museum here in Dublin, but I will discuss every little detail of the activity tomorrow evening.
