Welcome to my restaurant everybody! Take a seat, sit back and relax while I prepare some typical Irish dishes for you. I hope you’re hungry, because you’re in for a traditional breakfast, lunch and dinner today. Are you ready? Because: Food’s ready!
1. Irish breakfast
A traditional Irish breakfast is somewhat similar to the typical English breakfast. This traditional breakfast consists of hot fried food. Today, your breakfast will consist of fried bacon, sausages, eggs and Irish white or black pudding, but potatoes, tomatoes and mushrooms can be added. You can choose for toast or Irish soda bread as a supplement. Soda bread is a classic in Ireland. What’s special about this bread is that instead of yeast, sodium bicarbonate (otherwise known as “baking soda”) is used as leavening agent.

2. Irish Lunch
I hoped you enjoyed breakfast. After all it’s the most important meal of the day. For lunch, I’m serving you a light salad or a sandwich. Irish people usually don’t eat a lot for lunch after eating such a big breakfast. That’s why in Ireland, you can find a lot of take-away sandwich bars.
3. Irish dinner
Now for the best part: dinner. This is the best way to experience the typical Irish cuisine. As you may all know, Guinness is Ireland’s most famous beer, so it’s not a surprise that they use this beverage in a lot of their dishes. Therefore, I’m serving you Irish Stew. This typical Irish dish, as the name suggests, is a stew made from beef, sheep or lamb combined with carrot, onion, parsley and of course Guinness. Another well-known dish is Drisheen, a black pudding made of beef, pork and lamb.

Thanks for visiting my restaurant! I hope you enjoyed my introduction of the Irish cuisine. You’re now fully prepared for every meal we’ll have in Dublin!
