One of my other main responsibilities during the preparation of our trip to Dublin, was creating the flyers. Together with my colleague Dante, we designed the flyers for our sponsoring activities by using Photoshop and InDesign. Every month we sold different types of food and drinks depending on the season. We had for example for the Christmas period hot chocolate milk and cookies. With Halloween we sold pumpkin soup and candy. For every theme, Dante and I created a new flyer that we hung up in our building and on the campus. You can find some of our creations on these photos.
I quite enjoy being creative and working with these computer programs. Because I am a perfectionist, it was very important to me that the flyers looked great. I can see myself working for a PR or communication agency and one of my main tasks would be creating advertisements or brochures. So, this was a great exercise for me to train my design skills and to stimulate my creativity.
To be honest, I am not sure if the flyers really helped to attract people to come over and buy something. Most people just spotted us in our building and were interested in what we were doing. But after all, I had fun times creating it together with Dante, and I am really proud of how the design of the flyers turned out.
