In order to raise money for our trip, we decided to sell tasty food and drinks at school. We made sure that everything we offered was freshly made. This was not always that easy, but thanks to our family and our own skills, we were able to offer tasty products. To make our supply more attractive to the customer, we sold our products in various themes and Anouk and Dante made some beautiful flyers.
Here below you can find our themes together with the products we sold:
| Halloween | Sweets | St Nicholas | Christmas | Valentine |
| Pumpkin soup | Waffles | Pancakes | Hot chocolate milk | Cupcakes |
| Courgette soup | Pancakes | Speculoos/crunchy biscuit | Brownies | Chocolate mousse |
| Tomato soup | Bags of crunchy biscuits, spice nuts, chocolate, … | Sand cookie | Peanut biscuit | |
| Chicken soup | Pancakes | |||
| Bags of candy |
Besides selling products at school, our group and our teachers came up with a good idea: we thought it would be a good idea if we bought waffles from a supplier and sold them with profit to our friends, neighbours and family. This was much easier than selling to students, because family and friends always want to help you out. Students on the other hand, are thinking more about saving their money, because they don’t earn that much yet.
As you can see, we offered the pancakes multiple times. We did this because we noticed that a lot of students and teachers liked the pancakes. And they were really tasty! (so a big thank you to the mother of Loranne). After a lot of work and selling different kind of sweets and drinks, we finally reached enough money for our trip and I guess everyone felt satisfied and happy.
I’ll see you on my next post!
